Comments
Inspired by Pen15, our approach is to cast young adults to play middle schoolers, as the era of the film is set when Gen-Zers were in middle school themselves! My goal is to have our actors bring genuine parts of their adolescence into their performances.
We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the finished film for their demo reel.
Meals and transportation will be provided.

Storyline
Cammie and Olivia have been faced with a dire dilemma: they must either find a date to accompany them to their Middle School Grad, or be deemed as one of the Leftovers. It doesn’t help that Cammie’s crush has only talked to her online; and that Olivia has rejected Eric, a classmate, who now plots on her downfall.
Disguised as a cringe comedy, the film explores the experiences of BIPOC & LGBTQ+ students in the backdrop of a mostly white, conservative private school in the late 2010s.
