A beautiful, eerie and touching story that will be directed by LA based (and Montreal native) Giuliano Musacchio. The project will be filmed at the beautiful St-James hotel in Montreal.
Storyline
Sophia Ryder, poised to marry into a prestigious hotel dynasty, wrestles with the reality behind her seemingly perfect life. Engaged to Philippe, a wealthy hotel owner, her glittering world feels more like a cage. Her inner turmoil deepens when Charlie Bennet, her charismatic college boyfriend and now a successful novelist, reappears unexpectedly.
Their chance meeting at a hotel bar rekindles old feelings and unresolved "what ifs." As they navigate spaces from the bar to Charlie’s hotel room and Sophia’s opulent suite, their interactions are charged with flirtation and nostalgia, raising questions about missed opportunities for happiness.
Charlie's attempts to rekindle their romance intensify Sophia’s conflict, revealing the superficial foundations of her engagement to Philippe. In the end, Sophia chooses to pursue her own path, embracing her identity and leaving the past behind, a decision that underscores the bittersweet nature of their reunion.
