This is a western set in the 1800's but we are still looking for authentic performances that are not too over the top. Good references of acting can be found in movies like Tombstone and Unforgiven. Please give two takes of the audition, one without an accent, and one that leans into the role more (could be a very slight accent).

For Jackson, Elijah, and Marshall, there is one overnight shoot date that ends at 1am on November 5th 2024.

We are accepting non-union actors. This is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the
finished film for their demo reel. Meals and transportation/transportation costs will be provided.

Storyline

Told through the eyes of two ranch hands who recount a court case in which they were jurors, they discuss the inconsistent witness's stories.

Description Marshall is a regular ranch man discussing the inconsistent witness testimony of a criminal trail with his friend Elijah. In is mid to late 30s, Marshall is a bit rough around the edges. Just a regular guy who's life experience validates his opinions.

Description Elijah, another Ranch hand, sits drinking whisky with his friend Marshall as they discuss the inconsistent witness testimony of a criminal court case. A smart young western man with a cool head, but on occasion, his lack of experience and naive tendencies show.

Description Jackson approaches Elijah and Marshall asking them for directions to the next town. Presents himself as a well spoken gentlemen from a big city despite his outlaw nature. He is someone with proper etiquette but isn't afraid to put himself in a dangerous situation.
