We can accept union and non-union actors through our student agreement with ACTRA. This
is a non-paying student film and no permit is required. Actors will receive a copy of the
finished film for their demo reel.
Meals and transportation will be provided.
Storyline
Middle-aged woman, Cait is mistakenly called after the death of her estranged mother, leaving her Gaidhlig-speaking grandmother, Eilidh, in her care. Given no time to process her grief, Cait must decide where Eilidh would best be cared for. Cait’s son, Magnus, a curious and sensitive boy, tries to better understand his family through their grief.

White/ Causasian. Magnus is a curious and sensitive boy, inexperienced with the feeling of grief. In seeking to better understand it, he gains a better understanding of his family.
Please not the actor will be needed all 3 days. The actor has a major speaking role and there are scenes where he hugs Cait, his mother and we will be hiring an intimacy coordinator.

Description
White/ Causasian. Eilidh is a kind woman who loves gardening and music; she only speaks in Gaidhlig, which creates a strong language barrier between her and the rest of the family.
