Description To play the role of a man in their 30s to mid 40s. FOR THIS PARTICULAR BREAKDOWN, WE ARE SEEKING PERFORMERS THAT IDENTIFY AS MÉTIS. Dave stands out for his physical strength. Originally from a Métis community in Grande Prairie, he's the only member of this small team to have been born on the territory. Solitary and taciturn, he has no known attachments, apart from a mysterious girlfriend whose photo he shows Mathieu, confiding that he hopes one day to make a life with her. Dave works tirelessly to establish himself with the woman he loves. Enduring Craig's racist attacks, Dave is nevertheless one of the few to stand up to him, in a confrontation where the boss seems to both despise and fear him. But with Craig's rapid advancement and preferential treatment of Mathieu, Dave can't help but be deeply hurt. While he erects a barrier between himself and his white colleagues, he proves himself to be a hard worker who will do anything to achieve his goal.
