Storyline

Upon the discovery of her junior high diary, with all her dreams for the future, LOLLY BLANCHARD (34), who runs her family's struggling diner, can't believe how her life has turned out. Her dad won't let her change anything at the diner, her sister wants to move to Bali, and her ex-boyfriend RORY SHAW is suddenly back in town, making things awkward. Then her eccentric AUNT GERT (80) gifts her with three magical lemon drops, telling Lolly if she eats one and names one of her unfulfilled dreams aloud, she'll spend an entire day in the version of her life if she had followed that dream. A final fourth drop will allow her to choose one of those lives permanently if she wants it. With her first lemon drop, Lolly spends a day running her own café as she'd always imagined, with the second she chooses a day with her late mom, and with the third she spends a day with Rory, if she had never ended things with him. As Lolly's perspective changes with each experience, she must face the messy reality of any path she might have taken and choose the one that helps her become the person she wants to be.
