Storyline

Synopsis/ Storyline: ALLY, a food delivery worker, becomes an unlikely hero when she intervenes in a violent domestic dispute, saving KATE from her violent husband ERIC. But when Kate vanishes without explanation, Ally embarks on a perilous quest to find her, risking everything to bring her home. Will Ally deliver Kate from the hands of evil, or will she become his latest prey?

Despite feeling intimidated, she puts her own safety aside and stands up against Eric more than once. HMU & WARDROBE: Hair and makeup is natural and casual - an everyday look. Description LEAD - KATE, 30-44 A survivor of domestic abuse, Kate silently pleads for help from Ally but later struggles to accept it, ultimately fearing the potential consequences she might endure from her husband Eric. Even though she initially doubts them, her instincts prove tragically true when he “makes her disappear” by holding her captive in the basement of their home for three long months WARDROBE: Naturally pretty but her makeup and hair is plain, muted and tired. Nothing that calls attention to her. Scene 1-2&4, Day 1: Casual, basic look, jeans and t-shirt or athletic wear i.e. yoga-like clothes, comfortable and fitted. No shoes. Scene 8-9, Day 3: ragged, loose necked t-shirt, leggings, barefoot. She’s been locked up for a long time— hair is a mess, makeup streaks on her face, worse for wear.

Description LEAD - ERIC, 30-44 The abusive husband of Kate, Eric is tall, imposing, and menacing. He exhibits controlling and violent behavior, manipulating situations to maintain power and control over Kate, her mother and Ally. He uses his authority as a police captain to intimidate and threaten, showing a lack of empathy and remorse for his actions. WARDROBE: Scene 2-3, Day 1: Fitted t-shirt and jeans, muted colors, nothing flashy but accentuates his dominating physicality. He wears a police badge on his belt. Scene 5, Day 2: Similar to above, no police badge. Scene 6-8, Day 3: Similar to above, no police badge

Description LEAD: JENNY, 45-65 Kate’s grieving and worried mother. She’s unwaveringly committed to bringing Kate home and is on a desperate mission to spread the word about her disappearance. She’s rightly emotional about not knowing where she is, but this fact might also blind her from the truth that Eric isn’t all that he seems to be. WARDROBE: Scene 5, Day 2: An everyday look. Casual, jeans, flats, a cardigan over a fitted long-sleeved shirt. Simple hair and makeup.
