Storyline
Eugene goes to conduct a Turing Test on Eve whom he believes to be an advanced AI only to discover that he’s the one being tested. This science-fiction short explores what it means to be human and how human an AI can become before it is considered a person.

Description
Eugene is a polite, kind-natured man who loves his dog and wants to help humanity by furthering the technology of artificial intelligence. When his reality is shattered with the discovery that he is an AI he turns to violence in desperation. He has an implanted memory of a life as a human being which is all he’s ever consciously known.

Description
When portraying an AI Eve is calm, docile, and subtly robotic. When Eve is revealed to be a human she is a powerful corporate figure who is confident, highly intelligent, and a self-assured creator of Eugene. She has years of working with AI as property and her creations which has left her cold to any potential personhood they might have.
