Storyline
A devout 13 year old Muslim boy (with a premature mustache) struggles mightily to find out where he belongs: in the traditional, conservative Islamic community of his family and upbringing, or the frightening but enticing, freewheeling, anything-is-possible society of his peers in public high school...
About the Writer/Director: Imran J. Khan is a Pakistani American filmmaker born and raised in Northern California where he attended Islamic School until middle school, much like the main character in the film. He has a Masters of Fine Arts in Film Production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. His films have been broadcasted nationally on television as well as shown at film festivals across the United States.
