Storyline

(Comedy Drama/Mystery)
A young woman (18) who sacrificed adolescence to care for her family must decide whether it’s time to follow her own dreams or continue as the primary caregiver following her younger brother's psychotic break. At the same time, her father’s emotional injuries resurface in unhealthy ways, and a discovery about her mother’s death threatens her with the possibility of never having a normal life of her own.

Description An honor student who's about to experience and be blindsided by his first psychotic break. He's the younger brother of our protagonist Natalie. Has the ability to deliver comedic dialogue, emotionally vulnerable scenes, manic agitation, outbursts of anger, and minor fight choreography.

Description He's one of two love interests for our protagonist Natalie, often helping her see the bigger picture. He's making amends for a very bad decision in his youth and doing his best to become a better person, including studying to become a pastor. But his intelligence and increasingly black and white view of the world puts him at odds with those around him... forcing him to make use of his charm to win people back.

Description 60 to 80 years old, female. Feeling abandoned by her daughter who put her into assisted living and moved away, Mabel calls a low-budget talk show and develops a mother-daughter relationship with the call screener, our protagonist Natalie.
