Comments
The play is a two-hander. The client and therapist roles are both originally written as male; however, identity is not an essential element of the characters, and all candidates of any background will be considered for either role.

Get a Dog is a character-driven, dialogue-heavy play, created by a team who has been out of the theatre game for years, and is looking to get our feet wet again. We want to work with collaborators and storytellers looking for a meaningful, creatively-fulfilling experience.
Storyline
In Get a Dog, a very rich man walks into a therapy office in Toronto, desperate for help to reignite the passion he once held for the love of his life: money.

Client (late 30's - early 50's): Determined. Arrogant, but shaken.

Therapist (late 30's - early 50's): Doing his best. His best isn’t great.
